Once Upon a Time...

 ... there was a white page, where the first black lines were delicately drawn and words flew like water in a river.

 

That's how a new world began. It is behind the pages of a blank book that a pensive spirit lives: the one responsible for creating magical worlds never before imagined.

 

Well... In this case, behind the computer screen!

 

And it's behind this screen that I fight to be who I am (maybe I'm not that different from Tara Adams). 

 

But whenever I open a new page and see it blank, ready to be corrupted by the blackness of human words, I hesitate: How to begin? Where to start? Will it be good enough? Will I have the courage to risk it?

 

I started writing a few years ago. I was inspired by colleagues, friends, experiences, conversations... I followed the advice of other writers, absorbed the essence of the best books... I was motivated through music, series, movies and actors...

 

And I created worlds.

 

Lithium was the 1st. I started creating it around 2016. However, it wasn't until 2021 that I had the courage to finish the 1st work of a trilogy and published it on Wattpad. It's not perfect. It never will. But it's part of me. And of that I'm proud.

 

Sometimes I go back 10 or 15 years and remember that girl who preferred to get away from crowds of people and develop imaginary worlds in her head, but who never had the courage to make them reality. I now let the words speak for me, leave a message for those who read them. I was never much of a talker. And, one day, I dared to write, to represent feelings and actions through words drawn on a sheet of paper. This is the fight of my life: to show the world what I feel without having to say a word.
